About
The Honeynet Project – Norwegian Chapter (previously Honeynor) is a non-profit organization with security professionals from Norway. It was founded in 2005 and became a member of the Research Alliance of the Honeynet Project. In 2007 there was a re-organizing of the Honeynet Project in which we became the Norwegian Chapter of the organization. An organizational chart is provided at the bottom of this page for your viewing pleasure :)
Our primary focus is investigation and research of security threats and vulnerabilities active against and within Norway.

Members
The following section lists all the members of The Honeynet Project – Norwegian Chapter with names, a small description and a point of contact.
Einar Oftedal
Einar Oftedal is the founder of the Honeynet Project Norwegian Chapter. Einar is Head of Malware Detection Team (MDT) at Norman R&D. Prior to joining Norman, Einar worked as Head of Incident Handling Section at NorCERT, a division of The Norwegian National Security Authority. Einar began his career in the operational security field as a network engineer for NetPower International in 1998. He is also a full member of the Honeynet Project and an active member of the operational security community.

Atle Soma
Atle works as a senior network engineer at Lyse Tele, one of the largest triple play providers in Norway. His main areas of expertise are MPLS, IP-routing protocols, and FTTx access networks.

Erlend Oftedal
Erlend is a software developer with more than three years of full-time programming experience, focusing mainly on web development, integration and single sign-on. He has a M.Sc. in computer science with specialization in parallell databases from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.

Lars Haukli
Lars is a malcode analyst. He holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, and an M.Sc. in Telematics with a specialization in Information Security, from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).

Morten Kråkvik
Morten Kråkvik has a M.Sc. in ICT from Agder University College, with a specialization in system development and information security. He is currently working as a security analyst for one of the largest ISPs in Norway.

Roger Carlsen
Roger is a Security Officer with a shipping company. He has ten years of network and computer experience, the last five years in information security. He also holds a CISSP certification.

Sjur Eivind Usken
Sjur is a co-founder of Honeynor. Over the past ten years, Sjur has vast experience with wireless networks and VoIP. Sjur holds a B.Sc. in computer engineering and a Master in industrial economy and technology management from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).

Tor Inge Skaar
Tor Inge is a senior computer security engineer. He has an M.Sc. in Telematics with a specialization in Information Security from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He also holds GCIA, GCFW, GPEN, GREM and GWAS certifications.

Øystein Fladby
Øystein is a malware analyst at Norman ASA. He holds a Bachelor in computer engineering, a Graduate Diploma in internetworking from the University of Technology, Sydney, and he is currently taking a part-time Masters degree in computer security at Høgskolen i Gjøvik.
